Day Fourteen
(It's starting to feel a lot like...)
When Greta woke up this morning, it was still raining, not as hard as yesterday though. After her morning routine, she decided she couldn't put off going out any more. Winter was coming soon, and the water was already getting to the point where it was too cold to go in for long.
Heading outside, she fed the chickens and collected the eggs, things were already looking up, no bad eggs today. No flowers either, so it was kind of disappointing, but still looking like a decent day.
In the water Greta caught several fish, including a small shark (Ha! Take that!) After catching her fill and harvesting some kelp (who knew it had been here the whole time,) Greta returned to the boat. She talked to the chickens for a bit, and sent the metal she had found off to be smelted. Tired, she made some sushi with the fish she had caught, and went to bed.
It was hard to fall asleep that night. She had gotten used to life here, and the chickens were nice, but she wished she had someone else to talk to.
